What's the latest buzz?

The art of conservation. Art is a great teaching tool and form of expression. More importantly, it transcends language and cultural barriers, and is a great way to connect with children and get them excited about animals and conservation. Here is a drawing by Jilio, an 11 year old boy from the village of Antaravato, in northeast Madagascar. Jilio drew this picture while teaching me Malagasy words for various livestock inhabitants of the village. Kids are truly amazing and inspiring - and some of the best teachers I've ever had!
